One of Apple’s first computers – a functioning 1976 model – has been sold through a German auction house for a record $668,000 dollars. An unnamed buyer bought the so-called Apple 1, which the tech company’s founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak built in a family garage. Some people call ‘hydrilla’, the kudzu of the water. This hard-to-kill, fast growing weed is spreading into the southeastern portions of North Carolina. Hydrilla often spreads when it gets caught on boat propellers or buckets that aren’t clean. The boats or buckets are put into another lake, and the plant takes hold. The weed can grow an inch a day, quickly entangling boat propellers and crowding out other plants. Treatment often costs hundreds of thousands of dollars.  www.journalnow.com/news/state_region/article_c494af74-c74a-11e2-9b5c-001a4bcf6878.html

Some opponents of the new law see it as a ploy by the government to use what’s billed as a human rights issue to destroy the traditional family and Christianity. http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2013/May/Thousands-in-France-Protest-New-Gay-Marriage-Law-/
