Special event Friday evening: The J’s for Jaiden and Melissa Britt Charity Basketball Game will be held at Northwest Guilford High School in Greensboro.  The charity game has two goals – to honor the lives of Melissa and Jaiden and the second is to raise money for Jaiden’s former pre-school – The Muirs Chapel Christian Playschool.  Former ACC players will be playing.  Admission is $5 dollars   (7pm) BTW: Jaiden and Melissa Britt died in a boating accident on High Rock Lake over Memorial Day weekend.   www.the-dispatch.com/article/20130730/NEWS/307309973

 The Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning that any pain reliever containing acetaminophen (like Tylenol) may cause serious skin reactions in some people. Magic Mart, a store known for selling name brand items at deep discounts, will soon open its first store in the Triad by the middle of September. Magic Mart will be located in the old Walmart on Cotton Grove Road off I-85 in Lexington. WXII reporting that the store will employ between 60 and 80 people. The family-owned Magic Mart (established in Virginia back in 1967) has more than 20 locations in four states.
