Still UN-defeated: The Carolina Panthers are now 8-0 as they held on to beat the Green Bay Packers (37-29) at home on Sunday. BTW: Half price dozen glazed from Krispy Kreme today because of the win…In the next three weeks, the Panthers play the TitansRedskins and Cowboys — three teams with   less combined wins than the Panthers currently have. That means, if they can keep rolling, an 11-0 start is a perfectly reasonable expectation.  ESPN

Update: SouthPark Mall is bringing back its traditional Christmas tree to its holiday display.  The mall made headlines last week after it was revealed that they were cancelling their tree-lighting ceremony, replacing a Christmas tree with a giant fake glacier – in an effort to make visiting Santa “fresh and exciting.”  But the changes did not go over well with many customers.  A petition on Change.org to bring the Christmas tree back had more than 19,000 supporters as of Saturday night. “Southpark Mall (is) listening to customers…” http://goo.gl/Eanvm4
