“American Idol” producers apparently warned Colton Dixon if he didn’t ‘tone down his overtly Christian act’ he wouldn’t have a prayer of winning the reality competition. Colton’s response: “I answer to a ‘higher authority’ than voting viewers…being a Christian is who I am. It is a part of me (personally and ) musically.
