A Texas dad (Steven Nelms) decided to do the math and determine how much his stay-at-home wife / mom ‘should’ make a year, if compensated.
Steven listed every job his wife performs, from cleaning, cooking and caring for their 2-year-old child. After adding financial assistant, laundry services, cleaning services, personal shopper, chef and several other responsibilities, he figured the salary for a stay-at-home mom is close to $74,000 ($73,690) a year.
Steven writes on his blog: “…I’ve tragically failed to show my wife the appreciation that she deserves. She loves me, loves our son, and loves our family, so obviously she isn’t doing any of those things for a paycheck or even for recognition. You are more precious than rubies. And I can’t afford you.” 

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is back at Auburn finishing college classes toward his degree in sociology. Newton is on pace to graduate in May. Newton, who left after Auburn after his Jr season, led the Tigers to the national championship (while winning the Heisman Trophy).

Who’s that girl? Sarah Thomas has become the NFL’s first full-time female official. The 41 year old – who will be a ‘line judge’ – is only one of nine new game day officials hired for the 2015 NFL season.

People with type 2 diabetes may have less depression and fewer hunger pains if they opt for a bigger breakfast and lunch rather than six smaller meals throughout the day, a new study suggests. The most important things for people with type 2 diabetes: Have a plan on spreading out carbohydrate intake daily – plus, maintaining steady blood sugar levels and a healthy weight.

Sleep somewhere else? IKEA is a haven for DIY shoppers everywhere. Plus it’s a BIG store. Many IKEA shoppers worldwide have posted selfies (or shots of others) taking in-store naps on IKEA’s plush beds and comfy couches. But, IKEA’s Beijing store is banning sleepy shoppers from napping on its furniture displays. They are calling the practice a ‘Napidemic?”

The color of your MUG may be affecting the TASTE of your morning coffee? So, says a new study released in the online journal ‘Flavour’.
The idea for the study was inspired by a barista who overheard customers claiming they thought coffee consumed from a white mug tasted ‘more bitter’ than drinking coffee from a clear glass container. And research agrees?
