Best in ‘Show’…literally

The UNC-School of the Arts (Winston-Salem) and Elon University have landed on Playbill’s list of the “10 Most Represented Colleges on Broadway.”   The information used to create the ranking was taken from actor bios published in Playbill Magazine. The list represents shows that are currently open and those that have announced casting for 2017-2018.  Triad Business Journal: https://goo.gl/pjC4AE

Remember the phrase “you can keep your doctor and health plan?”

Update: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is dumping its health-insurance plans grandfathered into the federal Affordable Care Act in 2018.

About 50,000 individuals in the non-group category will be affected statewide.

Notices will be mailed to affected customers in October.

*A key stipulation of the ACA law to win support was the grandfathering of plans for customers who wanted to keep their original coverage rather than participate in the federal health exchange.   Journalnow.com   https://goo.gl/pVYg9i

Back to School: have you spotted those ‘yellow’ school buses, yet??

Know the law.  Keep our kids safe…

Both directions of traffic must STOP for a stopped school bus…

-On a two lane road

-On a two lane road with a center turn lane

-On a four lane road without a median

Brush up on current NC School Bus ‘Stop’ Laws at the News Blog

Exception: You only stop on a four lane road in the opposite direction of the bus if there is NO median or turn lane. To learn more about school bus safety and rules check out the News Blog   http://www.ncbussafety.org/index.html
