‘Helping people is simple’ – A group of North Carolina high school students in Hendersonville spent part of their weekend preparing 10,000 meals for “Stop Hunger Now” – an international hunger relief agency. The protein and dehydrated vegetable meals were packed in reusable bags. Project organizer (T.J. Freeman) said it took about two hours to put the 10,000 meals together.   www.stophungernow.org/mission-history
